Actor and Comedian Jay Johnston who is a familiar voice of the popular character Jimmy Pesto Sr. in the Fox animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers has been hit with a ban from the show.

Why was Jay Johnston banned from voicing on Bob’s Burgers?

The actor’s ban comes amidst his alleged involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, earlier this year. He has been identified as one of the paid participants of the violent events of insurrection.

The deadly event on January 6 saw people lose their lives along. Most of the riot-goers who participated in the riot were arrested and charged thrown in jail by the federal.

Johnston, popularly known as ‘Mr. Snow’ has not been arrested as things stand. However, he was also spotted in a video from the Capitol.

According to the Daily Beast, he spotted in the video, “alongside rioters taking pictures as Trump supporters push their way toward the building.”

The 53-year-old has been the voice of Jimmy Pesto for over 43 episodes of Bob’s Burgers for more than 11 Seasons in total.
