Paul Sorvino, American actor, opera singer, businessman, writer, and sculptor, has passed away at 83.

Paul Sorvino had three children with his first wife, Lorraine Ruth Davis, who is a drama therapist for Alzheimer’s disease patients as well as a former actress.

Their children are Amanda, Mira, and Michael.

She also won an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite.

Together with his daughter Amanda, Sorvino lobbied with the Americans Against Horse Slaughter in Washington, D.C This was for Congress and the Senate to pass the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (S311/HR503).

The family currently runs a private horse rescue operation in Gilbert, Pennsylvania.
