Aaron Latham, the journalist, and screenwriter who wrote the stories that inspired John Travolta’s flicks Urban Cowboy and Perfect died on July 24, 2022.

According to his wife, Latham died Saturday at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania after a fight with Parkinson’s disease.
She claimed that his health deteriorated when he was diagnosed with COVID-19 in 2020.
