Elisha Nelson Manning, better known as Eli Manning, is a retired American football quarterback who played for the National Football League’s New York Giants.
Manning is the son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning. He began his collegiate football career as a member of the Ole Miss Rebels football team, which represents the University of Mississippi.
He was chosen into the NFL by the San Diego Chargers shortly after graduating, but he was quickly moved to the Giants.

He is often praised for his charitable efforts, such as assisting Hurricane Katrina victims and assisting in raising funding for the development of The Eli Manning Children’s Clinics.
Manning also co-wrote a book called ‘Family Huddle‘ with his brother Peyton and father Archie. The book tells in text and illustrations how the Manning brothers used to play football in their youth.
