Carolina Giraldo Navarro, born February 14, 1991, known professionally as Karol G, is a Columbian singer.

At the age of 14, she appeared on the Colombian X factor. A few years later, she got her first record contract with Flamingo Records in Columbia and Diamond Music in Puerto Rico. It was then she decided on Karol G as her stage name.

A little while after this, she got the opportunity to perform with J Balvin at a quinceañera.

In 2014, she moved to New York City to learn more about the music industry.

It was there that she signed with Universal Music Latino. Her breakthrough hit, Ahora Me Llama, came through a collaboration with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny.
