A movie industry giant has passed on, prompting a flood of social media tributes.

Ray Liotta, who appeared in the films Goodfellas and Field of Dreams, died at the age of 67.

According to reports, he died in his sleep while filming the upcoming movie (Dangerous Waters) with Saffron Burrows in the Dominican Republic.

In 1989, he starred in Field of Dreams before playing Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas.
