Don Edblom was an American council member.

Edblom had lived in Marshall since 1976. He became a familiar face to many of Alter Metal Recycling’s clients over the years (formerly Becker Iron).

Edblom served on the Marshall City Council for two years, from 1993 to 2001, and will begin his third term in 2021.

From 2003 until 2013, he was a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Commission and the municipal Planning Commission.

Edblom held many positions throughout the years, including county DFL chairman, and even ran for the Minnesota House of Representatives one year.

He died at the age of 65.
