Brent Renard was an American journalist an filmmaker who was shot on March 13, 2022.

He was reportedly killed while fleeing Russian forces who opened fire on him when he stumbled onto their checkpoint in Ukraine.

According to witnesses, the filmmaker was travelling in a vehicle in Irpin, close outside Kyiv.
