Sacramento police have arrested 26-year-old Dandre Martin in connection with the Sacramento shooting that took the lives of six people and left a dozen others wounded.

Authorities said that Martin was arrested after midnight on Monday and was booked on assault and illegal firearm possession charges. Martin is being held in police custody without bail and is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday.
Sacramento County jail has confirmed that Martin also has an outstanding warrant from Riverside County. Six people, three men, and three women were killed in the shooting.
Meanwhile, 12 other people were injured, three of which have been identified. Police are looking for multiple shooters.
Detectives served search warrants at three residences where they recovered at least one handgun, during the investigation. Authorities have said that they believed at least two shooters carried out the genocide.
Authorities have also reported that at least three buildings and three cars in the downtown area were hit by gunfire and more than 100 expended shell casings were found at the scene.
The victims struck and killed by the gunfire were identified as Devazia Turner, 29, Sergio Harris, 38, Yamile Martinez-Andrade, 21, Melinda Davis, 57, Johntaya Alexander, 21, and Joshua Hoye-Lucchesi, 32.
