Dawson American football tight end Alan Knox plays for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills (NFL). He played collegiate football at the University of Mississippi. In Brentwood, Tennessee, Knox attended St. Paul Christian Academy and Brentwood Academy.

He was the quarterback and wide receiver for the high school football squad. Due to an ankle injury, he only participated in one game during his final year. Knox enrolled as a walk-on fullback at the University of Mississippi in 2015.
