A gunman opened fire at a Texas elementary school, Robb Elementary School, in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, killing at least 18 children, students, and one adult who happens to be a teacher.
The said incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 24, 2022, according to a state senator briefed by the Texas Rangers.

The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Salvador Romas – a student at Uvalde High School. According to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the suspect is dead.
As it stands, information on the suspect’s motive for the shooting that led to the death of the innocent students and their teacher has not been revealed by the police. Also, the police have not released the exact number of victims of the shootings and any information on the ages or names.
Having said that, the US attorney general has reacted to the sad incident by calling it an act of unspeakable violence and asked all Americans to join their fellow Americans in mourning the terrible loss and in their resolve to end this senseless violence in a press statement to address the issue.
