Dmitri Collins is an American actor, author, producer, and director.

Collins went to Greenfield Center School, Northfield Mount Hermon School, and the University of Chicago, where he majored in sociology.

He is best known for playing the angel Castiel in the CW television series Supernatural.

His film credits include an uncredited cameo in Liberty Heights in 1999, as well as appearances in Girl, Interrupted, Finding Home, Karla, and Loot.

From 2008 until 2020, he played the angel Castiel in the CW television series Supernatural. In addition to his role on Supernatural, he has appeared in Legacy, Charmed, NYPD Blue, 24, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER, Monk, and Timeless.
