He died just a few weeks after the shocking passing of cricket legend Shane Warne — who died after a heart attack.

According to several reports, Andrew Symonds died in a car crash on Saturday.
The incident happened at about 10:30 pm on Saturday in Hervey Range, 50km west of Townsville in far north Queensland. He died of injuries when his vehicle left the road and rolled.
Queensland Police released a statement following his death, saying: “Emergency services attempted to revive the 46-year-old driver and sole occupant, however, he died of his injuries.”
Symonds’ family confirmed his death and thanked friends and fans for their sympathy and support.
Andrew Symonds was an Australian international cricketer, who played all three formats as a batting all-rounder.
He was an important member of two World Cup-winning squads. Symonds played as a right-handed, middle-order batsman and alternated between medium pace and off-spin bowling.
After retiring in 2009, Symonds pursued his love of fishing, hunting and getting about in the Australian bush in the country’s tropical north.
He played himself in a Bollywood movie, starred in the Indian version of Big Brother, commentated for Fox Sports in Australia, and even starred in some rugby league games after almost switching to the sport in 2002.
