Sarah Matthews is an American politician who presently serves as the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis’s director of communications. She served as the deputy press secretary, during the last several months of Donald Trump’s administration.

Matthews is an alumnus of Kent State University. She worked for Trump’s re-election campaign where she met Kayleigh McEnany, the former press secretary before joining the White House.

Since the hearings and inquiries into the Jan. 6 riots began, Sarah has been active on various social media platforms, especially on Twitter where she has garnered a lot of attention.

She was one of several Trump advisers who announced their resignation on January 6, 2021, the day of the Capitol riot.
