A guy allegedly kept his daughter’s three dogs in a car for three days in hot weather, killing them.

According to Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons, Felton Charles Henderson’s daughter was getting ready to leave town for a few days and left her dogs with him so he could care for them.

According to the Pensacola News Journal, the daughter left critical supplies for her puppies before leaving, but her father locked them in the Toyota Camry without them.

‘She left water, she left food, everything that would be needed to take care of these dogs,’ said Simmons. ‘When she returned after a couple of days, she asked where her dogs were.’

The temperature in Cantonment, Florida, exceeded 90 degrees Fahrenheit each of the three days the man kept the dogs in the car.

‘It is clear that all he did was lock these dogs in his blue Toyota Camry in today’s heat, yesterday’s heat, the day before yesterday’s heat, knowing full well that they would not survive,’ Simmons said.
