Ukrainian actress, Oksana Shvets, has died at the age of 67. The Young Theater, the actress’ theater troupe she’s been a part of since 1980, announced her death on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

She died in a shelling attack on a Kyiv residential building by the Russians during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

Oksana Oleksandryvna Shvets was born on February 10, 1955, in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR.

From 1980 till her death, she was a part of the Kyiv Academic Young Theatre. She has also appeared in other films and television as well as other theaters.

In 1996, she was awarded the title Merited Artist of Ukraine.
