Bernarda Pera is a Croatian-born American tennis player. During her career, she has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour along with nine singles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Guillermo Cañas is an Argentinian retired tennis player who is also known as Willy Cañas. Born in Buenos Aires, he was named after Argentine tennis star Guillermo Vilas, and subsequently took up the sport when he was 7 years old.
He later turned professional in 1995 and has gone on to win many titles including the Canada Masters in 2002.
After his retirement, he did not completely give up on the world of tennis. Prior to coaching Pera. he had previous stints in coaching. From July 2011 until May 2012, he coached Ernests Gulbis.
Since 2015, he has been coaching Teymuraz Gabashvili.
Two years later in January 2017, he began coaching former number 1 Jelena Jankovic.
