They had three children during their marriage; Wendy, Molly, and Teddy.

Wendy Munger, is a former corporate lawyer, trustee of The Huntington Library, and trustee of Stanford University. Molly Munger is a civil rights attorney who funds a ballot initiative to raise California taxes for public education. Teddy Munger passed away from leukemia when he was 9.

Huggins passed away from cancer on July 22, 2002, at the age of 76.

He divorced Huggins but stayed unmarried for a couple of years after their divorce. He then got married to his second wife, Nancy Barry, the daughter of David Noble Barry Jr. and Emilie Hevener Barry.
