Dejo Tunfulu, a well-known Yoruba actor, has reportedly died.
The news of the 50-year-old actor’s death was shared on Instagram today by acting colleague Kunle Afod.
Tunfulu started performing at an early age, appearing on the TV show Theatre Omode. He starred as Dejo in his first film, Aje ni Iya mi.
Later, he became a member of the Akuko Gagara Theatre Group and the Kolawole International Theatre Group, and he appeared in Apere Ijongbon.
Tunfulu, a popular comedian, rose to prominence after appearing in Omo Oran, a film starring veteran actor Fatai Adetayo (Laude).
He’s also appeared in a number of Yoruba films, including Ejide (2007) and Ito urine (2009). (2008).
