Goldberg had an afternoon drive program on 560 WQAM radio in Miami, an all-sports network, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
Working on the WQAM programming schedule at various periods, Goldberg is arguably most remembered for anchoring a show from 2 pm to 6 pm daily, with long-time Miami radio presenter Neil Rogers as a lead-in.
Goldberg got his start on local radio and TV shows in Miami, eventually becoming the Dolphins’ radio commentator from 1978 until 1992.
He formerly worked as an assistant to legendary sports handicapper Jimmy The Greek Snyder.
