Findlay Munro targeted the vulnerable adolescent drivers after being recruited to train them to drive in the capital’s downtown center.

While teaching two young ladies to drive, a driving instructor sexually attacked them.

Munro spied on one lady by stroking her hand, leg, and bottom on many times between December 2020 and August last year, while also rubbing the thigh of a second pupil.

Munro, an instructor for 11 years, was also found to have made nasty sexual comments to two other victims when they were alone in his car after booking the lessons via Red Driving School.

The pervert, from the capital’s Barberton neighborhood, was ultimately apprehended when a 17-year-old broke down and told her mother what had occurred to her, prompting the police to intervene.

Munro pled guilty to two sexual assaults and two offenses of making improper statements earlier this year at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, and his sentencing was postponed pending the completion of reports.

However, when the disgraced teacher returned to the court for sentence last week, Sheriff Adrian Fraser discovered Munro had “denied the offenses” while meeting with social workers.

According to his lawyer, Steven Donald, there was “difficulty on his part understanding his behavior was criminal,” but he is now acknowledging his culpability.

The sheriff stated that he would have to postpone the sentence a second time in order to prepare a supplementary report and provide social workers with a full copy of the Crown narration.

After being caught last year, Munro’s mother called the driving school, and he was promptly fired.
