Donald Joe Heche casue of death: What happened to Anne Heche’s father?

Anne Heche was born on May 25, 1969, in Aurora, Ohio. She was born the youngest of five children of Nancy Heche and Donald Joseph Heche.

Her mother, born Nancy Abigail Baker Prickett, is an activist. She is also a Christian therapist and motivational speaker who lectures on behalf of James Dobson’s Focus on the Family about “overcoming homosexuality”.

Out of her four siblings, three of them are dead, the only living sibling is Abigail.

During her childhood, the family moved a total of eleven times and at a point, they lived in an Amish community.

Her father Donald, was a choir director. However, he claimed he was involved in a business of gas and oil, which was untrue.

When Heche was 13, her father died of AIDS at the age of 45. He never came out as homosexual, but her mother, upon hearing the diagnosis, became aware that her husband had been leading a double life as a homosexual.

According to Heche, “He was in complete denial until the day he died. We know he got it from his gay relationships. Absolutely. I don’t think it was just one. He was a very promiscuous man, and we knew his lifestyle then.”

In addition to this, Heche claimed that he repeatedly raped her until she was 12, and even gave her genital herpes.
