Ni Kuang, courtesy name Yiming, better known by his pen name Ni Kuang, was a Hong Kong-American novelist and screenwriter. He wrote over 300 Chinese-language wuxia and science fiction novels, and more than 400 film scripts.
Ni Kuang was born on May 30, 1935, in Shanghai, China. He, unfortunately, died in his sleep following a long-term illness on July 3, 2022, in Hong Kong. He married his better half Li Guozhen in 1956. The couple has been blessed with two lovely children, Joe Nieh and Ni Sui.
