Tyreke Jamir Evans is a professional American basketball player who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the Memphis Tigers, but later got drafted by the Sacramento Kings as their fourth overall draft.

This worked well for him, as Evans went on to win the 2009/2010 Rookie of the year award.

In 2013, he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans, where he won a match against his former team, the Sacramento Kings. However, he was traded back to the Kings in 2017.

Later in 2017, he signed with the Memphis Grizzlies and later with the Indiana Pacers in 2018. In 2019, Evans was banned for violating the NBA Anti-Drug Program terms and was reinstated in February 2022.
