He was reportedly shot and died on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 400Bl of Walters Lane in District Hts, MD.
According to sources, Goonew was rushed to the nearby local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Goonew was one of the most famous DMV rappers. He was born on May 14, 1997, in Maryland, United States.
The Pop Rapper, Goonew became popular in the DMV’s 2017 and 2018, Homicide Boyz and Big 64, hip-hop scenes respectively.
Rapper Goonew was also known by the names like Goon Rich, Goonwick, or Big64.
The rapper was not a social media fan as his Instagram page with the account @goonew64 has only two posts.
The 25-yer-old rapper was best known for his songs like ‘No Diss’, ‘Stain’, ‘Touchdown’, and ‘Down Bad’ to mention a few.
Not just talented, the young rapper was also considered as one of the biggest “new waves” in the hip-hop music industry.
According to sources, the PGPD is investigating his death as a homicide shooting.
