According to the Royal Opera House in London, he performed regularly with Sadler’s Wells Ballet, which subsequently became The Royal Ballet.
In 1946, he danced in the company’s inaugural staging of Frederick Ashton’s Symphonic Variations.
Danton performed with traveling companies in Europe, Australia, Asia, and South America, as well as with organizations such as the Paris Opera Ballet and the National Ballet of Australia.
He collaborated with national ballet companies in Venezuela and Colombia.
He also taught at Sarah Lawrence College, the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance, and the Juilliard School in New York.
