In its latest doodle, Google honors German physicist, composer, and electronic music pioneer Oskar Sala on his 112th birthday.
Sala was well-known for his sound compositions on the Trautonium, a precursor to the synthesizer. Sala studied piano and organ as a child and performed classical piano concerts as a teenager.
