Jaylon Ferguson, a Baltimore Ravens linebacker, recently died at age 26.
Ferguson redshirted his freshman year at Louisiana Tech. He appeared in 12 games with five starts in 2015, totaling 35 tackles and six sacks.
He established the school record for most sacks in a season as a sophomore in 2016, with 14.5. Ferguson has 38 tackles and seven sacks as a junior in 2017. He broke the school record for career sacks during the season.

There is no previous sickness or other explanation that may have explained why Ferguson was unconscious when the medics arrived, according to his medical history.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, Baltimore police spokesperson Niki Fennoy reported that the NFL player never recovered consciousness.
There was also no evidence of brain trauma or a drug overdose slightly linked to it, which left everyone perplexed after the incident.
An autopsy will however be done to find out the exact cause of his death per the police
Ferguson earned his first sack of the season on Dwayne Haskins during the 31–17 win over the Washington Football Team in Week 4 of the 2020 season. The Ravens placed Ferguson on the reserve/COVID-19 list on November 28, 2020, then activated him two days later.
