Anthony Rizzo salary per week at New York Yankees

Anthony Rizzo has decided to remain in the Bronx.

According to various sources, the first baseman and the New York Yankees have agreed to a two-year, $32 million contract.

According to Rogers, who cited a source, Rizzo will be allowed to opt out after the first year. It gives Rizzo the option of becoming a free agency following the 2022 season.

Last season, his left-handed bat and astute glove were a boon to the Yankees.

Also with Atlanta Braves trading for Oakland first baseman Matt Olson and then signing him to an eight-year, $168 million contract this week, the Yankees resolved to make sure Rizzo didn’t get away.
