Coen coached 135 Patriot League All-Stars, six Patriot League major award winners, 25  All-Americas, 10 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, two CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, and 236 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll picks.

From 2006 until 2018, Coen led the Mountain Hawks to an 85-64 record before retiring to deal with a diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

He was a feisty and passionate leader with an uncanny capacity to encourage and inspire his student-athletes.

Coen’s 85 career victories ties him with Bill Leckonby for the most in the sport’s history.
