While filming The Ninth Gate in France in 1998, Depp met Vanessa Paradis, a French actress and singer.

Vanessa rose to popularity at the age of 14 when her track “Joe le taxi” became a worldwide hit. The French actor and singer was in a relationship with Depp for around 14 years between 1998 to 2012 when the couple separated.

The 14-year long relationship between Jack and Vannesa saw 2 children come into their lives. Lily-Rose Melody Depp was born in 1999 and John Christopher “Jack” Depp III was born in 2002. Lilly just like her parents is an actor in her own right. Sources, however, have not revealed Jack’s interest or profession but the now 21-year-old will likely follow in his parent’s footsteps.
