Adam David Lallana is a professional football player from England who now plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion.

Lallana started his junior career with AFC Bournemouth before moving on to Southampton in 2000. There, he progressed in their system and turned pro in 2006 after becoming a Southampton player.

After a temporary loan return to Bournemouth, he made his debut for Southampton as they won back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League. In 2012, he was named captain.
