The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has been named Forbes African of the Year 2021 by the business magazine.
According to the magazine, President Akufo-Addo has repositioned the West African country in the global market as one reliant on its own resources and strength.

The announcement received mixed reaction on social , especially Twitter – where the announcement was made.
