Max Julien was an American actress, sculptor, and fashion designer best known for her role as Goldie in the blaxploitation film The Mack, released in 1973.
Julien also appeared in the film How to Be a Def Jam Player and has appeared in television shows such as The Mod Squad, The Bold Ones: The Protectors, and One on One.
He began his professional career in New York’s Off-Broadway theatre, including Joseph Papp’s Shakespeare-In-The-Park.
Moving west to Hollywood, he co-starred in Psych-Out with Jack Nicholson and Candice Bergen in the Columbia box office smash, Getting Straight.
While in Rome, Italy, he wrote and directed a documentary called Trestevre, and later co-wrote and co-produced the Warner Brothers classic Cleopatra Jones, starring actress Tamara Dobson in the lead role.
