Right after Easter Sunday, is Easter Monday, a day observed by many Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox traditions. For many people across the world, this day is observed to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For others, it is a celebratory day filled with much laughter and fun.

Easter Monday is observed as a public holiday in numerous countries, but not in the United States of America.  Even though it is not a federal holiday in the US, some Easter traditions continue on the Easter Monday, such as the egg rolling race at the White House.
