American singer, reality television personality and radio personality Traci Braxton has died. She died on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the age of 50.
The sister of Toni Braxton sadly passed away after battling cancer.
Traci had quietly been battling cancer for a year, per TMZ report. But she gave up the ghost on Friday.
According to TMZ, she died with her sisters and mother by her side.
Traci is known for her role in the family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values, and another popular Hollywood film Sinners Wanted.
She also starred in There’s a Stranger in my House and Chaaw.
She is also a singer.
Traci recorded a hit song, Last Call, that rose to number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also recorded “Broken Things” featuring her sisters, Toni, Towanda and Trina.
The family has experienced other recent tragedies. Her niece, Lauren Braxton, died from a heroin and fentanyl OD back in 2019 at age 24.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Surratt and a child.
