Bruce Johnson, American TV news anchorman, and reporter for WUSA 9 (CBS) TV has passed away at the age of 71.

According to his wife, the anchorman died on Sunday, April 3, 2022. The cause of his death has not yet been announced.

Also known as C. Bruce Johnson, his areas of expertise were politics and urban affairs, and investigative and hard-hitting feature stories. His life story included being the first person in his family to graduate college, not knowing his biological father, and even studying to be a priest.

He is survived by his wife, his three children, and his four grandchildren.
