Knox has no children yet. He will definitely have some once his career is over.

Knox attended Brentwood Academy and St. Paul Christian Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. For his high school football squad, he was a wide receiver and quarterback. Due to an ankle injury, he only participated in one game during his senior year.

Knox enrolled as a walk-on fullback at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in 2015. He was a member of the Ole Miss football team until 2018.

He collected 39 receptions for 605 yards throughout his career. He elected to forego his senior year and join the 2019 NFL Draft after his junior season in 2018.

Knox caught two catches for five yards in Buffalo’s Wild Card Round victory over the Indianapolis Colts, including a two-yard touchdown from Josh Allen in the first quarter of the Bills’ eventual 27-24 triumph. Knox has six receptions for 42 yards and a score in the AFC Championship defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 2021, Knox became a more important element of the Bills’ passing offense. He grabbed two touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving Day, bringing his season total to 7, breaking Buffalo’s team record for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end in a season.
