Tiffany Youngs, the 35-year-old wife of former England rugby player Tom Youngs, died after a long struggle with sickness.

She was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, in 2014 and fought it for three years before learning it was deadly.

In 2018, she was told she was in remission, but her cancer struggle continued, and Leicester Tigers released a statement on Wednesday confirming the sad news.

“Leicester Tigers are deeply saddened by the news that Tiffany Youngs has passed away after her heroic battle with illness,” it read.

“On behalf of everybody at the club, we send our condolences to the Youngs and Sands families.
