Melissa Lucio release date: Is Melissa Lucio innocent?

Melissa Lucio should be getting freed anytime soon but we can not tell when. This is after she filed for clemency on April 25th, 2022 which The Texas Appeals court agreed.

Melissa Lucio was facing execution on April 25th, 2022 but just two days prior, she has been granted a stay of execution. She will be sent back to the trial court with fresh evidence.

Melissa Lucio could not hide her joy in court and proclaimed that she loves her late daughter Mariah.

“I thank God for my life. I have always trusted in Him,” Lucio said in a statement shared by her legal team. “I am grateful the Court has given me the chance to live and prove my innocence. Mariah is in my heart today and always.”

Melissa Lucio lost her daughter on February 17, 2007, when paramedics found a child who was not responding and died.
