Earlier this year,  Rachel Recchia’s voice was raspier than usual during her hometown date on The Bachelor season 26.

Why did Rachel Recchia lose her voice on The Bachelor?

She became known throughout the season for her whispering when she speaks to Clayton, which many fans find endearing.

Rachel, a 25-year-old commercial pilot and flight instructor from Clermont, Florida, is a fan favorite and one of the favorites to win Clayton’s season.

Clayton must now decide whether to bring Rachel, Susie Evans, or Gabby Windey to the fantasy suites.

Rachel explained in an Instagram Story that she had been sick that week, which caused her voice to go out.

Having said that, she reiterated that it wasn’t  COVID-19. Otherwise, she most likely lost her voice as a result of the long journey from Vienna to Florida in such a short period of time.

Despite the fact that Rachel needed time to recover from her illness, production kept her on schedule.
