Former Fiorentina striker and Serbian professional soccer star Dusan Vlahović has officially been signed by rivals Juventus for a record fee.
His deal was completed on Friday, January 28, 2022, becoming the most expensive January transfer in Serie A history.
Vlahović was signed for €70.0 million ($78 million) — and the fee will be paid in three financial years, according to the Juventus website.
“Juventus Football Club announces that the agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Dušan Vlahović has been reached for a consideration of €70.0 million payable in 3 financial years,” the statement on Juventus website said.

“…in addition to the solidarity contribution provided by FIFA regulations and additional costs of € 11.6 million. In addition, bonuses up to a maximum of € 10.0 million are envisaged upon achievement of increasing sporting objectives. Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until 30 June 2026,” it added.
