Who is Trinh Nguyen? Pennsylvania mom charged with killing sons
Bucks County prosecutors announced Monday that the mother accused of shooting her two sons inside their Upper Makefield home faces first-degree murder charges after the boys died on Friday.
Trinh Nguyen, 38, allegedly planned the murders for at least a week before they took place.
JT and Nelson, brothers aged 13 and 9, were on life support after being shot in the head in their beds on May 2.
They died on Friday at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Last Monday, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said Nguyen’s charges would be enhanced if the boys, who were not expected to live, were released.
According to court documents, Nguyen was charged on Monday with two charges of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and possession of a prohibited narcotic.
