Joan Govan was last seen in Arlington on Sunday, April 10, at The Residence at Arbor Grove, where she shared a unit with her mother.

Her relatives stated that she had gone to grab breakfast early in the morning, returned home, and then departed with only her phone.

“She didn’t have any cards, ID, or a pocketbook; she’d left everything… except her phone. Since then, we haven’t heard anything” Zachary Govan, brother, spoke out.

According to her relatives, the hunt for the missing has come to a devastating conclusion after she was found dead.

Her actual cause of death is still under investigation.

Jada Govan’s relatives informed the media that she was discovered dead in her car near where her cellphone was last pinged.
