Betty, known for the TV show Golden Girls, is admired by millions of Hollywood fans across the globe. At least, her passing was enough evidence.

Before her sudden demise, a film dubbed Betty White: 100 Years Young (or simply, Betty White: A Celebration) was scheduled to premiere on January 17 to mark her birthday.

The producers of the film Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein will still premiere it despite her demise.

Lots of people have been asking: What were Betty White’s last words

What were Betty White’s last words?

Betty White’s last words on her death bed were “Allen” (referring to her late husband, Allen Ludden), according to Vicki Lawrence.

Lawrence, who was a friend of White after working together on The Carol Burnett Show and Mama’s Family in the 1970s and ’80s, disclosed this to The Hollywood Reporter.

Speaking about her relationship with the late actress and their last interaction, she noted: “I hadn’t been able to reach her lately. I wrote her a long letter a while back but she did not answer, which was unlike her. I knew she was not well, and this was coming, but it was still sad not to hear from her.”

“I talked to Carol [Burnett] yesterday, and we agreed it is so fucking hard to watch the people you love go away. She said she spoke to Betty’s assistant, who was with her when she passed, and she said the last word out of her mouth was ‘Allen.’ That’s so lovingly sweet. I hope that is true,” Lawrence disclosed.

Allen Ludden was White’s third and last husband. The couple married in 1963, however, Ludden suddenly died in 1981 following a battle with stomach cancer.

The actress said that Ludden was the love of her life and never remarried.
