A North Carolina teacher has resigned after being caught on video yelling obscenities and making racially motivated statements during class, according to school authorities.

Cimayiah Josey, the Southwest High School girl who captured the video, claimed the encounter left her distraught.

She stated that the teacher instructed pupils to put their electronic devices away. 

However, one kid refused to comply, resulting in the stunning reaction.

Until his student-attacking viral video, he was a staff member of the Onslow County School District.

He was believed to have been with the school for years.

He was said to have had cordial relationships with his students hence his latest altercation was demoralizing to his students and more particularly to Cimayiah Josey.
