Last week, American rapper and multiple Grammy winner J. Cole reportedly waited in a studio for eight hours, waiting for NBA YoungBoy to show up for a recording. But, to his surprise, NBA YoungBoy didn’t make it.
Why did NBA YoungBoy refuse to show up to J. Cole studio session?
NBA YoungBoy has finally addressed the rumours during a recent Clubhouse interview. He said he wan’t in the right frame of mind for the studio session, hence, he cancelled it.
Rejecting allegations that his absence was due to a lack of interest. “They lied and said I stood J. Cole up. They lied, they said I ain’t wanna go in the studio with him. That wasn’t even the case.”
He revealed why he missed the studio session, saying: “I was going through something so what the f**k I’ma go in this man’s studio session for a meet-up with him, knowing that I ain’t in a mode to talk or just to be in the mode to fuck around.”
“What the f**k I’ma go around this man if I know I ain’t in a mood to talk to nobody or sit there, or even be around somebody,” he added.
