On January 18, 2022, American fashion journalist, stylist, creative director, and editor-at-large of Vogue magazine, André Leon Talley was reported dead at the age of 73.
He was said to have passed away at a hospital in White Plains, New York, from complications of a heart attack and COVID-19.
His death got many sorrowful and it elicited an outpouring of sympathy and tribute from many friends, admirers, and organizations who took to their social media handles to send their condolences to the family of the late Talley.
His funeral service was scheduled to be held on Friday, April 29, at the late fashion icon’s longtime house of worship, The Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem and it was successfully held.
