 Lonnie Leroy Coffman of Falkville, Alabama was sentenced to almost four years imprisonment for his involvement in the US capitol riot of January 6 2021

Coffman reportedly transported a pickup truck loaded with weapons, ammunition and Molotov cocktail components to the US Capitol building on January 6.

He pleaded guilty in the month of November after standing trial and has served almost a year of the sentence

Coffman 72 is a Vietnam veteran with a history of depression who has served in the US army.

He voluntarily joined the army in the year 1968 and served two tours in Vietnam and later became a member of a militia group in Texas known as American patriots.

According to handwritten evidence gotten by law enforcement agents, the American patriots together with other militia groups gathered at an area known as Camp Lone star where they patrolled the border looking for illegal aliens according to prosecutors.

Coffman separated from his wife in the year 2008 and would leave home for extended periods of time without prior knowledge of family members.

He has two adult children with his ex-wife. He also has two sisters. According to reports Coffman still maintains a good relationship with his ex-wife.
