Lance Galbraith was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who died on April 15, 2022.
Galbraith, who died Friday, had such a personality that he earned the ire of wrestler Bret Hart during the 1998-99 Memorial Cup in Ottawa.
In a preliminary round game, Galbraith knocked out Brad Stuart, the top player on the Calgary Hitmen, with a hit.
The 67s defeated the Hitmen 7-6 in overtime in the championship game, despite Stuart being hurt in the stands.
Galbraith concluded his 67’s career as the franchise leader in games played with 297 (a record that has since been broken), and he never missed a shift.
He played for the Central Hockey League’s Wichita Thunder (CHL).
He was 42 years.
